RIP finished work

I may cry. Really I might.
I spent the better part of my evening doing this piece ( 'Good Morning Sun' ) on Photoshop7, I finished - all completed, then when I go to click Save as > what happens? 'Error' couldnt not save because there was an ERROR in the programme - How the HELL did that happen? Its never done that before!

So I even tried to export it onto illustrator - didnt work another ERROR popped up. Alas all I could do was take this screen shot of what it was like - and the quality is shitty as well ¬_¬

Anyone know what to do when PS effs up?
